Hi, hope you dont mind but i have put a link to your petition on our web site www.astraltv.ie , the fact that RTE etc, is not F.T.A. via satellite is a huge stumbling block for many small companies such as ours , as we are trying to roll out F.T.A services across the republic.
'Freeing' RTE etc, would simplify TV for the public ie 'an all in one set top box' solution (people hate complicated tv), it would also rid the skyline of ridiculous giant tv aerials, IT WOULD SPEED UP THE ROLL OUT OF DIGITAL TV USING EXISTING TECHNOLOGY. Steve

All taxpayer funded Irish stations (RTE agus TG4) should be available on FTA - both Terrestrial Freeview (like the beeb) and via Freesat. Why should I have to pay Sky or NTL to get stations I fund with my Licence Fee.

Yes another reason to vote out Fianna Fail and the Progressive Democrats. Use your vote people, and don't condemn our future to more drudgery.
